Filly Forest was the first series of Filly toys (although 2006, when "Filly" was first created, saw the release of some simple game figures for the brand).
Unlike later series, the characters in this set appeared to be based on real animals: The descriptions gave realistic background stories and the cards had a picture of the toy and a photo of a real horse.
