Filly Funtasia Promo 5 - "Magical World"

The Magical World trailer of Filly Funtasia was released on the 6th October 2015. It shows various clips from the opening and a few episodes set to an extended version of Magical World, the theme song used for the show's opening. Its description on the MyFilly YouTube channel contains what appears to be a pitch bible synopsis for a movie.

Story

The video starts with a tarp showing two unicorns with mirrors centering a floating land with a castle. It then shifts to another scene, featuring Rose in front of her parents at night time. Rose lifts one hoof with one of her father's before turning and running off toward a flat platform with mirror. She jumps on the platform, which begins to glow with magic. Rose looks back to her parents one last time before preparing to jump through the mirror.

The title of the show appears with rainbow appearing behind it. The title fades away as Rose floats down toward the ground. The Royal Magic Academy is shown in the distance, with Rose running towards and entering it. A wide view of the back yard is shown after, before showing Bella brushing her hair. After finishing, she takes a cupcake from Cooking Pot and eats it. Some brief clips featuring various characters then appear.

Cedric is seen with a wrench in his room, winding up his invention. Rose comes in and surprises him, causing him to release the machine's wind-up key. It then begins to move toward a nearby paint bucket. More clips of various characters are then shown.

A drawing of the Royal Magic Academy and the land surrounding it is seen on a chalkboard, with a piece of chalk drawing the trajectory of a crystal flying over the academy. This segues into a scene of the crystal, following the same trajectory, landing inside the academy's nearby forest. Upon landing, the crystal creates a large blue shockwave that passes across the academy.

Will is seen riding his skateboard. He jumps over Rose and waves to her before losing control, crashing into a nearby tree. His skateboard is then shown stopping near Rose. The scene then cuts to him lying at the tree with golden skateboards spinning around his head. They disappear as he lifts his head and raises one of his hooves, showing her that he's alright. Inside the school, Lynn runs up to Rose then winks at her as her freeze frame shows. Lynn shows her a present, which opens to reveal a scary-faced bat springing up in front of Rose. Short scenes are shown, including some that involve a trap Will has created.

Wranglum and his assistant, Battiwigs, are shown, plotting to take over the kingdom; Battiwigs gets surprised, causing him to let go of Wranglum's mirror and it drops onto the floor below. The scene then cuts to a classroom, with Rose being shown between Bella and Lynn. Rose raises her hoof.

The trailer then shows Zam and Zamie entering the school as Wranglum watches from the basement window. More shots involving various characters are then seen.

Bella is shown slipping across the floor from one room to another. A view from the basement appears focusing on Battiwigs flying out the window. A side view of a tower appears, panning upward. After it reaches the top, the camera shifts to a front view showing Sparkle with the teachers standing behind her. More brief clips appear, most of them focusing on the main characters. The final scene features a zoom toward the castle, before showing Rose, Bella, Will, Cedric and Lynn exiting their dorm building. Cedric and Lynn jump while the others run. Rose stops in the center to strike a pose. They all look at the camera as the scene pauses. The background turns into a yellow and orange pattern before the video fades to black.

Differences

• The scene where Rose and Bella lie to Will happens in a hall. This seems to be unchanged from the first trailer.
• One of the short clips show Melody winking toward the camera in the scene from The Cupcake Mystery where the students talk to and praise Bella for defeating the "monster". While no audio can be heard, the camera's position implies it to be part of a deleted pov shot from Bella's perspective.
• Some scenes have been flipped horizontally.
• The very end of the theme song is replaced with a repeat of its intro.

Movie synopsis (from video description)

The Funtasia TV series is based within the grounds of the Academy; however, the movie starts with the arrival of a mysterious stranger to the school that begins an amazing adventure leading Rose and her friends beyond the walls of Funtasia and through all of the Filly Kingdoms.

Funtasia is the center of all magic in the Filly world. When the Academy’s Headmistress Sparkle is found unconscious and the crystals from her magic mirror missing, spells, potions and even everyday magic begin to act unpredictably. These effects are also felt throughout the many Filly Kingdoms.

Soon, rumors of the return of Wranglum’s former followers, the evil “Grounders,” reach Funtasia, just as a mysterious young Filly, Amorra, arrives at the Academy. Amorra (a new Filly character created specifically for the movie) seems to know more about this mystery then she will admit and appears to have ties to Miss Sparkle’s past. Rose and her friends must work together with Amorra to recover the lost crystals and restore balance to the world of magic.

To find the missing crystals, Rose and her friends must split up to investigate each of the unique and wondrous Filly kingdoms following a puzzling trail of clues. From the enchanting home of the Filly Elves, Emocia, with its shimmering flowing rivers, to Crystalia, the Filly Unicorns’ magnificent island kingdom in the sky, we will see the many distant Kingdoms and meet the Fillys who live outside the Academy for the first time.

How will Rose and her friends react now that the rules of magic have been turned upside down? Will they find the missing crystals before the Grounders? What role does Amorra play in this mystery, and is she their best hope for solving the riddle or the one responsible for it all?

In the end Rose, Isabella, Cedric, and even Lynn and Will have to create a very special magic – true Crystal Magic – working together in harmony to combine the powers of their personal Crown Crystals! This new Funtasia Adventures embraces the best of the Filly brand, offering concepts that everyone will love: friendship, family, diversity, action, comedy and of course, unicorns!
