The Haunted Library is the twenty fifth episode of Filly Funtasia.
Plot[]
Ashia tells the class they each need to make an unique invention based on what they learned. After class, Rose mentions how she has plenty of ideas. Cedric says he'll think of an invention that uses wind. Will mentions how potions are important, and that his project will impress everyone. Bella however couldn't think of an idea for what to make.
Mister Pryce is busy organizing books in the library when something rushes by, distracting him. Meanwhile, Rose and Cedric and try to comfort Bella, but Fabian makes things worse by saying Bella should stop focusing on makeup. When Rose, Cedric, and Bella start leaving to get a cupcake, Bijou appears and wants to show the four something in the library.
When the four enter the library, they find it is a mess. Mister Pryce is unhappy about it, as he always finds it like this every morning and Sparkle always complains about it each time, and he doesn't want to lose his job. The four offer to help him, while getting Bella some books to help her learn ideas on what to invent.
During the night, the students try their inventions. Lynn, Will, and Melody are in the potions lab. Lynn's invention explodes in her face, while Will's causes a ball to bounce uncontrollably. Fabian creates multi-purpose goggles to fit over his eyeglasses. Johan invented a magical music machine powered by a crystal. Rose has created a machine that creates cupcakes, but it malfunctions and starts making cupcakes nonstop. Cedric created a magic vacuum that can suck anything. However, Bella still couldn't think of anything as she was expecting pictures to be in the book instead of just words.
The next day, Mister Pryce is about to open his library when Rose, Cedric, Bella, and Fabian appear behind him and offer to open the door for him. Upon opening the door, they find the library to be a mess again despite their attempts to clean it. Battiwigs, who was assisting them in grabbing a bag, accidentally drops it on a lamp, revealing it to be a lever that opens a secret passage. At the end of the passage, they find a chamber with books, one of which encased on a pedestal. Before they were able to touch this book, Mister Pryce warns them not to touch it as it's a very dangerous book. He also warns him not to tell Sparkle about the secret area. Battiwigs tries to take a close look at the book, but Rose pulls him away. Cedric is worried that whoever is causing those messes may be searching for the book, so they offer to stay in the library overnight and search for the culprit. Bella is still worried about her project.
During the night, they wait in the tent when they hear something flying. Bella proposes it's a ghost, as Bella is still next to Cedric. Cedric tells Fabian to use his goggles for night vision to see what's happening. Fabian however reveals his night vision goggles aren't thoroughly tested, and they still had their filters activated. Cedric then decides to use his super vacuum to get rid of whatever is causing the trouble. When they turn on the lights after he uses it, it is revealed Bijou has three baby owls who were hiding in one of the drawers. They then deduce that the baby owls were what caused the books to fall. Battiwigs returns to the secret chamber to get the book. He regrets his decision when the book is released and starts to magically create monsters out of paper.
Bella starts naming the baby owls. She names them Cupcake, Cupcake the Second, and Cupcake Junior. Then suddenly, the group finds the paper monsters leaving the secret passageway. The four fillys flee from these monsters, while Battiwigs stays in the nest with Bijou and her children. After escaping the paper creatures, Cedric tries to use the super vacuum, only to find they escaped through the school's ventilation. Bella and Fabian leave the group. As they search for these paper insects while lying to Mister Pryce, the other students were busy working on their inventions before being interrupted by the creatures.
Rose and Cedric find Lynn, Melody, and Will. Using the super vacuum, they save them from the paper scorpion that was chasing them. Bella and Fabian bump into Zam and Johan. Bella tells Fabian to put on his goggles and Fabian puts them on. When wearing them, he realizes he can also see better with his goggles on, as his eyeglasses were melted from the heat during the chase. Fabian kicks the paper wasp, while Cedric appears and vacuums the creature and the paper beetle attacking Zamie. While congratulating his success, the creatures burst out of his vacuum.
In the library, Battiwigs notices a light beginning to shine from the secret chamber. Flying down to investigate, he is then interrupted by the paper monsters. These insects then return with the book and use it to combine into a giant paper komodo dragon, and he returns to Bijou's nest in fear. Cedric tells both his and Bella's groups to bring their inventions to the library, while he goes to fix his vacuum. Rose and Cedric go to the library in time to save Battiwigs and Bijou from the monster, with their two inventions combined. Rose's invention is used to shoot cupcakes and Will's bouncy ball as a distractions for the monster. When distracted, the other fillys bring Johan's music machine to get the komodo dragon to dance, and Cedric uses the opportunity to suck up the monster in time for Mister Pryce to not notice it. They then continue their lies, saying the baby owls caused this mess.
The next day, everyone shows off their inventions in class. Cedric presents his invention as a collaboration between him and his friends: Cedric's vacuum, Lynn's magic potion, Will's bouncy ball, and Rose's cupcake shooter. Bella then shows hers, the ability to craft anything of paper.
