Wranglum is the main antagonist of Filly Funtasia. He is a dark wizard whose true form is that of a large, hairy, bipedal monsters with a tree-stump like head. He has been trapped in a crystal prison and mostly contacts the Filly realm via his magic mirror, projecting his face onto its surface. He can also cast spells through the mirror with the help of magic crystals.

Minions

His main minion is the dorm pet Battiwigs, a clumsy bat who Wranglum usually treats poorly. Battiwig helps to keep Wranglum's mirror secretly stored in the basement of Royal Magic Academy and aids the wizard in his plans to steal crystals.

Wranglum has two other types of minions at his command: the bipedal, tree-like "grounders" that he occasionally summons, and animal-minions with glowing, purple eyes. The animal minions appear to be regular animals that Wranglum has taken over with his magic, and he has been seen using them to spy on Fillies.

Wranglum is the dark wizard who once ruled the fantastical and spooky subterranean creatures known as the Grounders.

Seeking even more power, the wizard set his sights on Funtasia determined to steal all of the Filly magic. Forced to battle Wranglum and the grounders, the Fillys magically sealed his evil essence inside a dark crystal that was then locked away deep within a hidden cavern, never to be seen again... well at least that was the plan.

The bad news: One of the Tricksters royally messed up, so the Wizard is not longer trapped inside a crystal, nor is he powerless.

The good news: The wicked Wizard is now trapped inside a Dark Crystal Mirror controlled by a hopelessly incompetent purple pest.

Likes: Winning and humiliating anyone and everyone.

Dislikes: Losing ever and having to rely on a bumbling buffon named Battiwigs.

Favorite saying: Back off, Batti your foul breath is fogging my mirror.

In ukrainian dub of the show, he is reffered to as 'Ranglum' (' Ранглум'). The dub's synopsises at PlusPlus' site kept this name for his character too.

He stands roughly 50cm (~1'8") tall if measuring by the sizes of other characters, and shows facial expressions through the mirror view, with what resembles thickened smiley faces on a dark background.
